1.1. Uninstall Buttercup on a Mac

To uninstall Buttercup on a Mac, you can either use Launchpad or the Finder. Launchpad allows you to uninstall apps directly, while Finder allows you to move the app to the Trash.
Using Launchpad:
1. Open Launchpad.
2. If Buttercup is running, quit it first.
3. Type "Buttercup" in the Launchpad search field.
4. Press and hold the Option key or click and hold the Buttercup app icon until it jiggles.
5. Click the Delete button (X) on the Buttercup icon.
6. Click Delete to confirm.
Using Finder:
1. Open the Finder.
2. Go to the Applications folder.
3. Select the Buttercup app icon.
4. Drag the icon to the Trash.
5. Alternatively, you can right-click the app and select "Move to Trash".
6. Empty the Trash to permanently remove the app.
